How to get several styles out of 1 weave!

The one thing inconsistent about me, is my hair style! That’s what I tell people when they ask why I change hair styles often. If you are anything like me, you get bored of the same hair style after a while. I change mine more frequently than the average person, but you get the feeling.  Now I’m gonna share with you how to get different hair styles out of the same weave:

1. Get a good sew-in that can last over a month: if you gonna pay $$$ for it, why not make it last and why not  make it fun? When i don’t do it myself, I have a stylist who is pretty good at braiding  medium size solid braids before  sewing  in the weave. I also ask her to fold the the hair and not to cut it in between tracks to avoid shedding.

2. Choose a beginning style that is versatile.  If you start with a short  Bob, you don’t have much room for change later. I started with an uncut side bang.

3. Cut and style as you go: I’m particular about my hair and I personally do a better job at cutting it myself!  Therefore, I trimmed the initial side bang myself,  then 3 weeks later  when I got bored of this style, I cut it into front bangs. This gave me a brand new look! 2 weeks later,  I decided a layered Bob will be my new look, and after 20 minutes in front of mirror with my razor,  comb, and scissors,  I have a Bob! 3 different looks so far out of the same weave. That’s how you get different hair styles  on a dime!

My weave cost me $120 with virgin Remi hair that cost me $24. I cut the different styles myself so no cost there. I don’t consider myself an expert in hair cutting to give you advice, but you can check YouTube videos. Likes, shares, and comments are welcome πŸ˜‰βœŒ
